This slim wallet has a generous note pocket with a full width zip for safe storage of notes, receipts etc. There are 4 card pockets, a slip pocket and a window for the display of an ID or Travel pass. The wallet is closed by means of a tab fastener. This robust leather is discreetly embossed with the Tumble and Hide mark and is provided in a box.
The wallet comes with certification of the 'Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana conciata al Vegetale' - a guarantee of the authenticity and origin of the leather.
Vegetable tanning is a tradition that members of the Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium have practised for over 200 years, - these days using both antique recipes and state-of-the-art technology.
The transformation from raw hides into a durable material is a slow process that takes place in wooden drums using natural tannins extracted from chestnut or Argentinean quebracho trees. Despite modern technologies and machines nearly forty days are needed to transform raw hides into unique vegetable-tanned leathers.
The result is a material that ages without spoiling or compromising its durabilty and that gains a vintage feel with the warm colour shades and patina of a natural product.
